The panel was a discussion of the legal, social and policy implications of this legislation, including a discussion of the Log Cabin Republicans v. United States of America case, the subsequent injunction issued by Judge Virginia Phillips of the United States District Court for the Central District of California, the Defense Authorization Act and domestic partner benefits.
